Details:
18 year old Street Pastor of Columbus, OH delivers again!

The Street Pastor returns with his sophomore album entitled, "Scripted in Concrete". After the success of his first album "The Bigger Picture" released in winter of 2002, Street Pastor continues to raise the bar with this latest release. With over 18 tracks, "Scripted in Concrete" is said to be his best project to date. Not only does Street Pastor continue to drop knowledge and bring about social awarness, but his flow has risen to a stage in which few artist (including those ten years his senior) ever reach.

At 18 years old, Street Pastor is speaking from inside the whirlwind. As a teenager he shares in the daily struggle of his peers. Sex, Money, Drugs, and Violence are not just issues that he recollects, but these are instances that Street Pastor has to deal with every day; and it shows in the music. Using top notch production, and inspiration from God, Street Pastor paints vivid pictures that cover the canvas of life, these collages are put into the form of songs, which create one great masterpiece, "Scripted in Concrete".

Tracks like "Get Ya Head Out the Cloudz" serve as a wake up call for artist, and listeners alike. When asked about the song Street Pastor says,
"The song is calling out all those who feel like they don''t need God, a lot of artist get in the game and their heads are in the clouds, they feel like they did it all themselves, once wealth is gained they feel like rocking a cross on their neck is giving praise to God. Even as teenagers, at times we are too busy to stop and look at where we are headed, we are blind spiritually and so we can''t effectively be used in the Kingdom of God. They got they head in the clouds."

Street Pastor continues to inform the listener and brings forth social and political issues on the track entitled "Emancipation".
"This is one of my favorite songs on the album, it was one of the last additions. I began to look at the state of America and what had been going on in our communities, and what I began to see, as that a lot of us are slaves to hatred. We may be in the "land of the free" but we are still in bondage to self hatred. We are slaughtering each other at a rapid pace, and we wonder why we can''t move any higher socially. The government is building prisons on an account of how many children fail the third grade, we are being set up for incarceration. Until we learn to love God, and then love ourselves, we can never be free."

As always Street Pastor comes with tracks that stick in your head forever, last album it was the "Street Ballad", on "Scripted in Concrete" it is "Yada Yada Yada".
"This song is hot. Everywhere I go, I get a lot of love from this track. It is just talking about all the garbage that is corrupting the airways, and telivision. In the book of Psalms it ask "Why should you consult the dead on behalf of the living". If you are trying to live a successful, healthy life why would you take advice from these artist who are speaking death. I let everyone know if you are not speaking life, if you are not giving a solution to the problems, than it is a bunch of "Yada Yada Yada, blah, blah, blah."

This is a must have for anyones CD Collection. If you are looking for something different, somthing real, something that will leave you educated without being boring, then get this album; you won''t regret it.

"Stand Up, make a statement, support music that speaks life, get "Scripted in Concrete". ---Street Pastor
