SUPERCELL...THE WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW:

Having known each other as former bandmates in another life, bassist Nick Holmes, drummer Todd Hughes, guitarist Shannon Nedved and lead singer Jason Wheelington officially formed SUPERCELL on a moment''s notice, for a last minute New Year''s Eve gig on December 31, 2001. Further, without really intending to do so, this dynamic group of longtime friends has unwittingly become one of Dallas, Texas'' most talked about new bands. With influences, ranging from old-school New Wave and Pop acts (Madonna, Duran Duran, U2, Bon Jovi) to current "crossover" Modern Rock bands (Our Lady Peace, The Calling, Oleander and Goo Goo Dolls), SUPERCELL has created a unique blend of new and old sounds that will have you laboring to define or classify them.

After hearing their debut single "Walk Away", KDGE 102.1 FM''s Drue Mitchell declared, "Please listen to this band...I beg you! They are a part of the next step in rock & roll!" and coined SUPERCELL as "...futuristic, vintage-rock". Lynn Hernandez of KEGL 97.1 FM says, "They''ve got it down; great vocals, great hooks and looks. They sound like they''ve been writing rock hits for decades!" With notable quotes like these it''s no shocker why, after only a few months after releasing their debut EP 5 Degrees Left of Normal, SUPERCELL began fielding calls from all manner of record labels, entertainment lawyers and booking agencies from across the country; all requesting more material and expressing serious interest in following the band''s development. In addition to numerous rave reviews from many music columnists, regional FM radio spins and steady worldwide airplay on XM Satellite Radio (Ch. 52), SUPERCELL has, on numerous occasion, been the "featured band" or been called a "band to watch" on countless music websites.

In a relatively short amount of time SUPERCELL has shared bills with many established, top-selling, artists; from fellow hometown Grammy nominees Bowling For Soup (Jive) to Sheryl Crow (A&M), John Mellencamp (Polygram), Something Corporate (Drive Thru), Seven Channels (Palm), Dishwalla (A&M), Deep Blue Something (Interscope), Sugarbomb (RCA), Vallejo (Sony) and The Feds (Sony). Additionally, SUPERCELL also frequently shares the stage with many of the top drawing regional bands, as well. Given SUPERCELL''s propensity for captivating, energetic and emotionally charged live shows, it''s no surprise why many fans and industry peers have SUPERCELL tapped as the next band to "break" from Dallas'' burgeoning "Deep Ellum" music scene. Says guitarist Shannon Nedved, "It doesn''t matter to us if it''s The North Texas New Music Festival, SXSW (both of whom invited them to showcase last year) or a Wednesday night in front of 2 people; we always try and give 110% because every face is a potential new fan and every single person deserves their money''s worth." With a philosophy like that, it''s no surprise why Andrew Ellis, music critic for the Chicago-based https://www.tradebit.com, believes that "...they (SUPERCELL) could justifiably claim to be one of the best unsigned rock bands in the US." and why Dallas/Ft. Worth''s KDAF-TV, WB33''s Entertainment News Reporter Victoria Snee, says the band is "...making quite a splash." and urges viewers to "...get caught up in the SUPERCELL."

Tracy Stevens, Editor of Sugarbuzz Magazine, says "Supercell is a perfect example of what the people want to hear, what radio should be playing, and what labels should be signing." and it would seem that https://www.tradebit.com and Budweiser agree, as they recently tagged SUPERCELL as the "Best of Latest American Rock" bands. Ultimately pressing 10,000 copies of a 5 song "Premium Compilation CD" that included "Walk Away" and was distributed throughout Europe, in the Spring of 2003. https://www.tradebit.com goes on to say that SUPERCELL is "Quality melodic Pop Rock..." and "...one of the best groups in Dallas!" In August of 2001, VH1 noticed Jason''s vocal abilities when he was ranked, in the Top 3, nationally of a vocal competition sponsored by Warner Brothers Pictures and Bel Air Entertainment. You can also expect to see and hear SUPERCELL in the feature film "West Memphis Three" (2004). Handpicked for inclusion on the film''s soundtrack, by Academy Award winning film producer Curt Johnson (Thoth, 2002), SUPERCELL will be the only unsigned band associated with the film alongside Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eddie Vedder, Henry Rollins, Pink Floyd and many more.

Whether it''s a radio DJ, an online fanzine or even an Oscar winning film producer, "the book" on SUPERCELL always seems to be the same; this band has a solid and promising future in the music business. Take it from https://www.tradebit.com who says, "If rock music can be spiritual, this is it. If rock music can be perfect, this is the band." Given such consistently high praise, many find it hard to resist being overly anxious to experience what so many in the music industry are already raving about.

"WHAT THE PRESS IS SAYING ABOUT SUPERCELL."

"Please listen to this band...I beg you! They are a part of the next step in rock & roll."
Drue Mitchell (On-Air) KDGE 102.1FM

"They sound like they''ve been writing rock hits for decades. They''ve got it down; great vocals, hooks and looks."
Lynn Hernandez (On-Air) KEGL 97.1FM

"Supercell blurs the lines of new and old sounds...get caught up in the SUPERCELL"
Victoria Snee, (Entertainment News Reporter) WB33, Ch.33-Dallas

"A stage full of great looking guys always gets my attention! A Grammy-bound band, Supercell packs it all into one neat package. The music is consistent and always brilliant. Supercell rating 1-10? I give them an 11!"
Cindy Chaffin, Texas Gigs, https://www.tradebit.com

"Supercell is the kind of band that hooks you from the very first listen and won''t let go until you''ve fully submitted. They are that good. And the best part is, they are only going to get better."
Robert Thompson, Kings of A&R, https://www.tradebit.com

"Supercell is a perfect example of what the people want to hear, what radio should be playing, and what labels should be signing."
Tracy Stevens (Editor), Sugarbuzz Magazine, https://www.tradebit.com

"They could justifiably claim to be one of the best unsigned rock bands in the US at the moment. Supercell has a real commercial appeal, with an edgy modern sound that marks the band out as potential major-league contenders.
Andrew Ellis (Critic), https://www.tradebit.com

"Bands like this don''t come along every day. It''s really only a matter of time before Supercell becomes a familiar name on radio play lists all over!""
Jay Anderson, Popbang Radio, https://www.tradebit.com

"Plant four hotties on a stage, put instruments in their hands, give them the perfect voice, give them the ability to write and perform the perfect rock and roll love song and what do you have? Supercell. Supercell has the ability to get under your skin and stay under it with a sound that feels like something you''ve always known, yet still completely fresh and like what you have been waiting for and looking for in music. If rock music can be spiritual, this is it. If rock music can be perfect, this is the band."
Shar (Critic), College Artist, https://www.tradebit.com

"There''s enough talent to make anyone turn their heads and take notice...everyone is talking about Supercell lately."
Becca Conklin, https://www.tradebit.com

"Walk Away" is packed with enormous hooks; catchy guitar parts and enough sing-able melodies to make Matchbox 20 jealous...look for Supercell to make some serious waves."
Kevin White (Critic), Harder Beat Magazine

"With music being pushed into the realm of pop, it is refreshing to hear music that has meaning and rocks."
Mike Turley (Producer), 1310AM "The Ticket", Dallas

Leaping gracefully between pop and hard rock this Dallas Texas band gives you a reason to roll down your car window...and turn it up. ''Walk Away" is a song that gets so stuck in your head, a bottle of Tylenol and Boones Farm couldn''t wash it away...Seriously though, this is a band to watch for."
