Shawn Clayton aka LOPRO was born in New Orleans, La. In 1993 after auditioning for a talent show, he found out that the producer who was supposed to make his beat bailed out on him. Well that ended up being a good thing because that was the first "track" LOPRO ever layed. After taking second place in the show he took a very strong interest in production out of frustration of finding a producer to work with. Not really knowing a thing about playing any instruments he jumped right in spending his whole paycheck on a Boss DR-5 Drum Machine. In 1998 he ran into Brian Garnett who was getting together a record label. After originally being asked to rap Brian also wanted LOPRO to produce. From then on a monster has been created. Now Lopro has his own label and studio in California and has already executive produced 2 LPs "Unbreakable" and "Suthan Hospitality" (coming soon). Now that he has all the artillery he needs to make it, no one can stop him on his path to become one of the best southern rap producers out there.
Barron Quick aka Brimz hail from Macon, Ga on the eastside from a section called Forthill. He first began to flow at the age of ten. At first it was for fun, but as time passed, he started noticing that people really started to dig his style. Knowing he had something going he took it as a talent and started polishing his skills. By the time he was sixteen he was shining but didn''t have a name for himself. It wasn''t until some of his boys who used to pick at him about the wierd hats he used to wear started calling him "BRIMZ". Now years later he still goes by the same name. Brimz met Lopro through another Mean Muggin artist "Ill Manner" and from then on it was instant chemistry. Alot of cats don''t know who Brimz or "Brimmy" is yet and they might not know he exists, but he likes it that way. With a silent but deadly type flow Brimz is now prepared to show his talent for the world. .........and who are we to stop him?
Dante "SMOKE" Lewis was born and raised in the streets of Chicago and has been rapping since 1996. He never really took it serious until one day, while flowing in a neighborhood, cats started feeling his flow. He then hit the streets flowing with his neighborhood potna and from there that he started to spit steadily on various underground tracks honing his skills. Nothing could have made him see the light clearer after he nearly died suffering from multiple stab wounds to the stomach. Now, after giving up the streets Smoke is determined to be the best with a lot of trials and tribulations within his music. He hooked up with LOPRO who approached him when he heard that Smoke had some skills. From there LOPRO knew he had to get him on his camp. It took some time but now the time has come. And by any means Smoke will be heard. A lot rappers out there claim they got that FIRE.........but they just don''t know that even after that fire there is still SMOKE.
Ajene'' Neeley, a.k.a. Episode is an artist/producer from Decatur,Ga. Involved in Hip Hop since 1996, "EP" is in search of a sound unknown to the Hip Hop era of today. In addition to beat making, he has found the time to write as well, and has appeared on tracks with up and coming artists in San Diego. A long time friend of label-mate Smoke, Episode has the same passion and desire for success, which is what brought them together.
