End-Time Bible Singing Revival

Psalmistyle music is a most effective Bible Scripture teaching tool. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind!

Francisco Bawdon Rivera has been playing the guitar and performing music for forty-six years. In the 1960''s in the Battle-Of-The-Bands playing rock''n''roll, to the 1970''s writing his first Christian songs, then in the 1980''s learning to compose Bible Scripture to song while serving a five and one/half year prison term for burglaries committed to support a drug habit acquired during the flower-child era, which was in the 1960''s. This music which he calls Psalmistyle Christian Music is Bible Scripture sung word-for-word accompanied with musical instruments. It is not just for Christians. Psalmistyle Music is for all people. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 That means His word the "Holy Bible" is a love letter to everybody in the world, with no exceptions, every person! Psalmistyle Music is music, melody and God''s word! Listen and you will remember!

So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the
Word of God. Romans 10:17

And He said unto them, "Take heed what you hear; with
what measure you use, it shall be measured to you and
unto you that hear shall more be given." Mark 4:24

Jesus said seven times in the book of Revelation, "He
that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto
the churches." Revelation 2:7,11,19,29 and 3:6,13,22

Psalm 119

"The Bread of Life"

This is the longest of all the psalms consisting of
176 verses divided into 22 stanzas of eight verses
each. The psalm is an acrostic where each of the
stanzas begins with one of the 22 letters of the
Hebrew alphabet. Each of these verses within the
stanza begins with the same letter as its first verse.
The psalm is a paean of praise to the study and ob-
servance of God''s teachings. The central theme is the
author''s love and devotion to God''s laws. He employs
nine synonymous terms to refer to God''s instruction.

1) Torah (teaching);
2) davar (word);
3) imrah (saying);
4) mitzvah (commandment);
5) chuqim (statutes);
6) mishpatim (rules, rulings);
7) piqudim (precepts);
8) aydoth (testimonies); and
9) derech, orach (path).

Every verse in this psalm makes mention of one of these
synonyms (except v. 122). In the course of expressing
his happiness in obeying God''s instructions, the Psalm-
ist makes repeated reference to the wicked,the taunters
who have fallen away from keeping the law. They are the
real enemies. God is upright, as is His law, and He will
save the righteous from their oppressors. The psalm ends
on a note of praise of God and on an expression of de-
light in His teachings. The basic thought of the psalm,
namely, delight with God''s Torah, keeps being repeated
in the 22 stanzas. This repetitiveness builds an in-
tensity that conveys to the reader the pathos of the
author and his sincere piety. The term Torah as used
in this psalm is meant to convey one of God''s teachings
or instructions. It does not refer either to the
Pentatuech or the entire body of Jewish knowledge, which
the Torah came to signify in later times. The psalm is
utilized by traditional Jews for a ceremony to add to
one''s name in case of dire illness. Since a name is
taken to be more than one''s appellation, but reflects
the essence of one''s being, such an addition endows one
with a different personhood and leads to recovery.
Acrostic formulas are employed to effect such a change
of name and, therefore, the rite lends itself
especially to this psalm.

Outline From The Book: Messiah And His Hebrew Alphabet

Psalm 119

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible.
Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible.
The middle verse of the whole Bible is found in between
those two chapters in Psalm 118. Psalm 118:8 says:
"It is better to trust in the Lord that to put
confidence in men." There is 594 chapters before that
verse and 594 chapters after that verse. 594+594=1188
Psalm 118:8

" For the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper
than any two-edged sword. Piercing even to the dividing
asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow.
And is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart." Acts 4:12
