Steve was born in Sawyerville, in the beautiful Townships of Quebec Canada.
Througout the years, Steve also had the chance to accompany Dick Curless just to name one. That was back when people often went out to dance and musicians could easily play several nights per week.
Steve really appreciates being on a stage to entertain the people he loves and who return the love a hundredfold. For several years, he performs on local stages but also in Ontario and a few times in the United States.
A few years ago, Steve even had the occasion to share the stage with Lynn Anderson, who is well-known for her huge hit “I Never Promised You A Rose Garden”. It is a comical story that Steve likes to tell when asked.
Steve has a powerful and well structured voice, a raw talent which allows him to interpret a wide musical selection with no effort. For Steve, traditional country remains the best genre, but he also likes to interpret songs from various styles which he carries out brilliantly.
His repertoire is so vast that many have named him the “human jukebox”, with good reason. The singer has two heroes: Merle Haggard, for mostly the same reasons but also for his “Redneck” ways that make him sing aloud what others only think. That was of course before he met Michel Rivet with whom he now collaborates.
