Since their rebirth in August of 2002, Atomic Tangerine has entwined individual experiences and influences to create an extraordinary sound that has turned heads throughout the country ! From Mike''s experiences as a student of Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award Winning recording artist Russ Miller (Ray Charles, Cher, Babyface, Hillary Duff, Moulin Rouge Soundtrack) to Eitan''s venture''s into the hypnotic nightlife of the Nation''s Dance scene (releasing a remix of Cory Hart''s "Sunglasses at Night" with Tommy Boy Records and an original track "The Best Things" with Pandisc Records) the band has integrated different styles of music into their own distinct sound ! Having triumphed over major obstacles, Joshua Snyder and Co. have decided to take fate into their own hands, and began production on their debut album "Bitch for Society". Their first single "Gravity" has recently been released in June, and has already received nationwide recognition.
Atomic Tangerine has opened for such major acts as: Blues Traveler, Andrew W.K., Cypress Hill, Better Than Ezra, The Gin Blossoms, Fastball, Less Than Jake and Guster.
Atomic Tangerine''s music has recently received radio airplay on 94.9 Zeta (WZTA) , O-Rock 105.9 (WOCL), Real Rock 101.1 (WJRR), KOOBA Radio (U.K.), and other stations throughout the country.
In February of 2003, Atomic Tangerine won the HBO / Hard Rock Café national "Rock the Stones" Contest, beating out thousands of acts from across the country.
The video for "Gravity" is currently in production and is being directed by Kevin Maistros, who has worked with such artists as Linkin Park, Evanescence, and Story of the Year, and such directors as Nigel Dick and Mark Romanek.
Atomic Tangerine has headlined such venues as House of Blues(Orlando), Hard Rock Café/Live (Times Square, Miami, Orlando), Masquerade (Tampa), The Factory (Ft. Lauderdale),and The Social (Orlando).
A.T. is presently working with such producers as Steve Ivory (Toni Braxton, FunkMaster Flex) and Sam Verella (Flock of Seagulls)
