Details:
Thematically, this is a record that is primarily concerned with dissecting the numerous forms of bonds that we as people fashion. Using the ideals of connectivity as a vehicle, each song is meant to trace a different aspect of the human condition as applied to relationships, which when pieced together rationalize why we are constantly searching for a counterpoint. Film, literature, music, drugs, culture, history, friends, family, and personal experience have all played some role in shaping this record, resulting in a simultaneous melodic and lyrical cacophony that is representative of the discordance of human emotion. But above all, this is a record about that which is irrefutably a universal prerequisite for happiness during what is consistently described as a feeble and short existence…above all else this is a record about love.

The Following is an excerpt from an article written by Lauren Hammock in Southwestern Publishing.

"The Voice Within"

When Jamie Bramble picked up a guitar for the first time as a high school freshman at Heritage Hall, he couldn’t have envisioned the significance the decision would hold. “I just knew back then that I’d rather play the guitar than play football,” Bramble recalls.

In the years that have followed, the guitar has turned out to be the right choice. The twenty-two-year old Bramble, whose angelic face is the manifestation of an equally angelic voice, has since composed well over 60 songs and two CD compilations: his début compilation, Complete Lack of Oxygen, and Magnetism, scheduled to release next month.

An English major at OU, Bramble combines poignant, soulful lyrics with the purity of his classically trained voice – the kind of stirring voice you might expect to produce an Italian aria.

Magnetism reveals Bramble’s enviable versatility as a musical artist. In addition to penning each of the album’s 15 songs and a single hidden track, Bramble arranged and produced each song, played all the instruments and engineered the collection, mastered by Paul Colley at Sunday Recording in Oklahoma City.

As with its predecessor, Complete Lack of Oxygen, Bramble weaves his masterful storytelling into the lyrics of Magnetism to reveal a soul-bearing glimpse of himself for the listener. “Each song is meant to trace a different aspect of the human condition as applied to relationships,” Bramble explains. “But above all else, this is a record about love," he adds.
