Formed in 2007, Tequila brings together musical stylings from all over the world in a fiery storm of flamenco guitars and latin percussion. Songwriter Silviu Ciulei provides catchy vocal melodies and blazing guitar solos from his native Romania. BJ Golden from Baytown, Texas creates a solid harmonic foundation with his vicious flamenco strumming. On bass, Taylor Lonardo adds his hometown Memphis, Tennessee funk to the low end. And of course, the multi-talented Tony Hartman (Davenport, Iowa) plays everything from cajon to steel drum to samba whistle making this act ultimately exciting. Their debut CD, "Del Mundo Nuevo", is a self-recorded, self-produced tapestry of soulful flamenco music.
