Carl & Guinevere Bright both come from strong Ministry & Musical backgrounds. Guinevere hails from Indianapolis Indiana where her parents Pastors Walter & Daisy Plummer were the pastors, and Carl from Philadelphia Pa, where his parents, Pastors Stephen and Margaret Bright were pastors. Both come from a line of preachers, musicians and singers. (PK Kids) Guinevere is an anointed electrifying psalmist. Her ministry of music fused with the prophetic song is life transforming. She has served as Praise & Worship Leader for Greater Macedonia Miracle Kingdom & Worship Center, New Beginnings Ministry and New Millennium Fellowship.
Guinevere''s passion for ministry through music is caught by the congregation as she navigates them into the presence of God. Carl''s ability to write fresh psalms on the spot has caused many life changing altar calls at their concerts. From arranging music for bible verses, to composing a song for the praise team to sing that coincides with the word that has just been preached, it is evident that his passion is sincere and his anointing is true to his call.
Their Anointing for music Ministry pored over into their pastoral, preaching and marriage seminars. Their transparency of what God has done and is doing for them makes their teaching more palatable to the listener. Having served in the music ministry and married 31 years has given them a sincere heart for those who are called to minister.
In Philadelphia, Pa Carl taught at the University of Pennsylvania and directed a one hundred and ten voice choir for eight years. Also served as musical director for an off Broadway play "Look What A Wonder Jesus Has Done". Guinevere had lead roles this production for over eight years Guinevere Is known for her electrifying anointed vocal ability, that brings a word of restoration and encouragement to the listener..
They had the honor of performing with the late Rev. James Cleveland, and opening for the Hawkins Family, Shirley Ceasar, The Winans, Dr. Bobby Jones, The Barrett Sisters, Richard Smallwood Singers, and Dannibelle Hall to name a few. In Montgomery Al. , Carl & Guinevere grew and matured in the clarity of their calling. Carl became Chief Psalmist and Guinevere Praise & Worship leader at Greater Macedonia Miracle Temple. Carl also served as coordinator for Two Bishop T.D. Jakes Conferences in Montgomery AL, and hosted TBN''s Praise The Lord for two years. They founded and pastored New Beginnings Ministry. After eighteen years God blessed them with their first child Genesis Asthyn Bright.
Answering the call of God, they now reside in Charleston Sc. They have founded The New Millennium Praise Singers, The Charleston City Wide Mass Choir, The Charleston City Wide Youth Choir, Men of Praise, Women Of Praise and the Jehoshaphat Mass Choir .Carl now serves as the Minister of music at the St. jJmes Presbyterian Church on James Island, SC.
