Orlando Martinez a.k.a. “Lil Man” is a true artist of the Hip-Hop genre representing his hometown of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Michael Vasquez a.k.a. Rasta-Rican “Joker”, is a versatile artist; singer/rapper whose hometown is Ponce, Puerto Rico. Born of Puerto Rican decent, Lil Man and Joker were raised in New York City’s own Yonkers and Brooklyn respectively, where they were immersed in all forms of music. With legendary artists like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, and Hector Lavoe playing within an earshot of their bedrooms, they knew percussion and rhythm before they could walk. They are inspired by the likes of the great Bob Marley, Vico C. and all of the underground artists of the 1990’s. Hip-hop coupled with their Latin roots, molded them into the musicians they are today. Lil Man and Joker, hold the rhythm and grooves of Latino music in their hearts, minds, and souls. Lil Man and Joker have shown the world that with dedication and hard work you can really make a mark in the music industry. They love the challenge of making people accept a new sound and style. Writing their own lyrics and rhyming with fierce and raw intensity, the duo has earned their respect in the overall Latin genre.
