Both competitions were won as a result of weeks/months of live performances and a combination of both judge/fan votes. Ultimately, TheSpeaks placed a close 2nd in the nation in the Hard Rock competition - an achievement in itself, but unprecedented for a rock group of all Asian-American descent - just further proof that music truly has no color!
