P. Novakane has performed at colleges and clubs throughout the tri-state area. Highlights include a joint performance with the legendary Doug E Fresh and as an opening act for Wu Tang''s Killah Army at Rutger''s University. P. DJ Smallz aka Mr. Southern Smoke, was named one of the "Top 7 Hip Hop DJs of 2006" in the USA Today, and has worked with multi-platinum artists: TI, Ludacris, Three 6 Mafia, and UGK, to name a few. The success of "Home Sour Home 2" lead to a digital distribution deal with Gracie/EMI productions (previous releases include albums from artists Serious Jones, Jackie-o and Royce Da 5''9) and a deal with an internationally known Texas powerhouse to distribute P. Novakane ring tones.
P. Novakane is preparing to release his first nationally distributed album in early 2009. Featured on P. Novakane''s upcoming album, yet to be titled, is gritty new music from "The Burnaz" and Def Jam''s electrifying new R&B recording sensation, Unique Zayas. Production credits for P. Novakane''s new album include Ty-Soundz (known for producing tracks for MOP and Eric B''s new artist Avion), and The Co-op, whose production credits include the likes of Young Jeezy, Freeway, Jae Millz, and 50 Cent.
