The band name is called Circumference, which is made up of Scott Groomes and Jeff Sage. The two of us are old friends that decided to get together and collaborate on some original music. We first met in a blues band called Sage Advice and quickly became friends. The band lasted for about 3 years playing around the Pittsburgh bar scene. After a short break, we created another blues band with a swing style called The Midnight Hour. After 3 more years, we became bored with the local bar scene and with playing cover material. We started to collaborate on creating our own music. Initially, we were going to use Jeff''s old 4 track studio, but came to the conclusion that computer software was the wave of the future. Several thousand dollars later, we purchased computers and studio equipment for 2 locations. A trial CD was made called Sage Advice that included 12 sample songs. We just finished a new CD called Brand New Start. The new CD should be available in May 2008. The songs on this CD reflect the variety of influences that we have accumulated over the years.
