City of Joy: The album is rich in both geographical and musical influences from the last two or three years; traditional guitar, bass and piano nestle with sounds sculpted from extreme and irreverent audio processing. The initial spark came from Tim being approached to compose for independent film, this coupled with his new-found pallet of the digital domain has produced some astounding work that weaves and turns through a collection of beautiful, poignant music, that displays both his strength as a composer and his craftsmanship as a producer.
Beginning a career as a professional musician in his late teens, today finds Tim in full creative bloom. English born, based in London and Brighton for the bulk of his career, until moving to the USA in 2001.
Since being in New York, he has written for tv, film and theater, worked as an engineer and session musician, and has continued to teach; composition, guitar and audio engineering. In recent times, aside from making music, he has worked as an actor, traveled in and around the United States (Homeland Security having prevented him from leaving - but that''s another story entirely) and is once more enjoying performing as a singer songwriter. He is currently finishing an album and EP of songs that will be released in the coming months.
