Chasing Katie is a Rock band out of Atlanta, GA that has been around since 2005. For the first year the band did nothing but play shows and write new songs, so by 2006 they had enough original material for a full length album. Part of the album was recorded in a studio and the rest was recorded in the then lead guitarist''s church basement by the band themselves. The church basement where the band practiced and recorded a lot of the songs was located on a road called Holt Road. Since the band spent so much time there hanging out and recording they decided to name the album after that road. At the end of 2006 some members of Chasing Katie decided that they wanted to go in different directions, so the band announced that they would be breaking up. BUT, two years later at the end of 2008, lead singer Billy Wilcosky and drummer Cris Cortes announced that they would be re-forming Chasing Katie.
