Details:
Cobalt Core Is:

Jeremy Lee: Vocals, Music Composition, Lyrics
Rob Snyder: Additional Composition, Programming, Production/Mastering
Bob Macko: Additional Composition, Guitar

Cobalt Core was first created in early 2003 as Jeremy finally found his voice. Shortly after, Rob signed on to help out, and the two became almost inseparable since. Bob joined the group mid to late 2005, and has become the final needed piece to the puzzle. The "Core" is a labor of love, of spirit, and of passion.

Cobalt Core layers Jeremy''s well tempered flowing vocals atop synths, orchestral and ethnic sounds, and drums, sometimes hard edged, some times a little softer. It also features guitar work from master guitarist Bob Macko on select songs, along with mixing/mastering work and programming by Rob Snyder. All this put together makes for a very interesting and unique sound, sometimes reminiscent of industrial music, sometimes synthpop, sometimes harder edged rock, and sometimes classical or ethnic. It''s a very wide pallet of sound. Don''t take our word for it though, one must simply listen to understand.

In 2006 they released their debut single “Anymore” which garnered them a good following in their home town of Chicago, as well as some fans worldwide. They followed this up with a limited amount of shows in the Chicago area, as well as a few small shows elsewhere in the U.S.

After a long hiatus and a lot of hard work, their first album “Windowcut“ is finally here, released by Strength Records on 08-08-2008. The album, with its thirteen tracks finally shows of the depth of the sound that defines them, with a lot of different moods and emotions represented here via Jeremy''s flowing, conversational vocals atop layers of synths and guitar sounds that can only be defined as unique and moving.

Look for Cobalt Core as they begin doing shows, first in their hometown of Chicago, and then wherever the music takes them.
