After two backpacking trips in Arizona and Utah Tom said, "I have hiked it, photographed it and finally had to do an album about it, the music just gushed out". Many of the songs have a movie soundtrack feel, since they were created from images rather than ideas. The American Indian is in our thoughts in several of the tracks, adding to the power of this rich and extraordinary music.
