Quote from Dave Mikesch: “Musicians often go through life worrying about fame, money, and other people’s opinions of their music, which to me, is a recipe for disaster! If you worry about those things, it takes away from the joy of music. You obviously can’t please everyone, no matter how talented you are and how great your songs are. So to me, the thing I’m most proud of is that I have my own style – nobody really sounds like me but me. To be unique in a world of millions of musicians is truly a wonderful accomplishment”.
