Dirk Balthaus is a Jazzpianist based in Amsterdam. Since more than 20 years he is an active member of the European Jazz scene. He has toured through many countries and has worked with artists like Lee Konitz, John Engels, Toon Roos, Frank Morgan, Ack van Rooyen, Bob Mallach, Benjamin Herman and many more.
With Sven Schuster on bass and Sebastiaan Kaptein on drums he forms a trio in which he can really express his musical ideas.
