Don Ciccio Philarmonic Orchestra is an INDEPENDENT band of originals tunes, written and arranged by every single note in the reharshal room.
Sextet cross from the classic italian songwriters, like De Andrè to cabaret atmosphereres in the jannacci way and to the swing touch like Conte and musical delirious like PFM.
Born in Venezia, the lagoon band was distingued for the winning of the Arezzo Wave 2004 prize.
D.C.P.O. have partecipate in various broadcasts (included "Versione beta on Radio2 RAI), cinematographic soundtrack (for the movie "Eine liebe in Venedig", Bavaria film-RAI co-operate), festivals (Marghera Estate Village 2008, Venezia Carnival 2003 and "Alta Voce" readings 2007).
Collaborations on stage with some fine italians band, like Vinicio Capossela, Casa Del Vento, Mercanti di Liquore and ex Modena City Ramblers singers, Cisco.
The album "SUITE PER VIAGGIATORI",released in 2008, is the perfect syntesis of those 7 years of experiences and concerts around Italy.

La Don Ciccio P.O. è un gruppo INDIPENDENTE di musica ORIGINALE, costruita su testi rigorosamente in ITALIANO, e arrangiata NOTA PER NOTA in sala prove.
Il sestetto si destreggia tra il cantautorato italiano più classico alla De Andrè e le atmosfere da cabaret di Jannaci, passando per i tocchi swing alla Paolo Conte e i deliri musicali della PFM.
Nata a Venezia nel 2001, la formazione lagunare si è distinta per la vittoria di Arezzo Wave Veneto 2004.
La Don Ciccio P.O. ha quindi partecipato a numerose trasmissioni radiofoniche (tra cui “Versione Beta” su Radio2), festival (tra cui Marghera Estate Village 2008, Carnevale di Venezia 2003 e Altavoce 2007), e collaborazioni cinematografiche (colonna sonora del film “Eine Liebe In Venedige” per la Bavaria Film-Rai); ha inoltre condiviso il palco con Vinicio Capossela, La Casa del Vento, i Mercanti di Liquore, Cisco (Ex-Modena City Rambler).
L’album “Suite per viaggiatori”, uscito nel 2008, è la perfetta sintesi di questi 7 anni di esperienza e concerti in giro per l’Italia.
