its an honor to be where i am at in life today. It goes to show if you never listen to discouragement and follow your goals anything is possible. El President is a blessing. This album came together in the weirdest way imaginable. There was great forces behind us that were pushin and pulling in both negative and positive directions.A lot of people came together to make this production possible. If El Presidente was a time safe. it just opened, and im grabbing dat loot babay!
How did you and Duna decide on the presidential concept for your new album?
We were putting together "me N the White Boi" album when the presidential race really took flight. Duna calls me one day in October.. He says. "MAJR D, IM RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT! Guess who i am? he barked! "I dunno" was my response. he said, "I am BARRAP OBAMA, your future President!! and You are my vice President Dro Biden!! (dro means marijuana for those who are grow illiterate; short for Hydro). Even if we''re not elected the CONCEPT will be killin em." I was cracking up as always cus DUNA is Stupid Dummy. not to mention he''s loud, sometimes annoying. But hilarious!! (A perfect character for this rap game. there''s a reason they call him Baby Mac Dre) "Cutty!" i said. "we should call it "El Presidente!!" in memory of the Mac...?! he liked it, but hesitated cus HE dint think of it... slept on it a day and then went with it cus it just stuck!!!. "El President" is in stores Nationwide. It Dropped on inaguration day! and Yes we did get elected. I am The vice president of THIZZ NW movement!!! DRO https://www.tradebit.com www. MAJRD. com!!! On EL PRESIDENTE, who did you get a chance to work with??
I always have had the honor to work with the best in the industry! I since a child felt if i associated myself with the bosses i could soak game, smash down and make a quick milla!!!
Duna been my boi since i was doin music with Brotha Lynch and First degree (SHOUT TO THE DE) (bout 5 years we been workin together).. so i had Duna call E40 a while back. Duna explained and showed E40 the movement we have going on over here. He hookt me a lil shout out.
I travel to the bay every other week. So of course ima hook up with the Thizz family. Uncle Miami is a triple OG. Man I thought i had ADHD... HELLLLLLOOOO!!
Dubee spit tracks of venom. chillin next to the semi auto for inspiration. He was going to jail the following month so u know we needed him on the album!! We were in a tattoo parlour in the bay when i recorded Dubee and Miami and they dint even know how to work Pro tools. I had to engineer they spot. Good thing im on point with my Pro Tools otherwise... we woulda been s.o.l.
Celly Cel loves this White boi cus i keep it treal and my slogan " IN THE NECK BITCH" he like dat! Celly a good businessman!!
Spice 1 came thru studio in Portland the same day as Celly. Kilt the track in 30 mins!
Mac Mall was more than happy to be on the album.

J diggs and Me beat down some orangutang lookin mufucka at the nile one night last march orso when he was in town. Yup we were in the studio right after. THEN I GOT SIGNED TO THIZZ big YEE!!!

We blocked traffic on 1-84 and had a lil Side show in the pdx snow when we picked him up from the airport to show a boss how we do Thizz NW style!! coolio then dipped into track with Cool nuts and Duna while he was here mixing this audio gold i have!!
