Details:
Right The Ship is a brand-new punk-rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. Their self-titled album was recorded at Bobby Finn''s home studio (Glendale, CA) in 2008. Finn recorded the entire album himself; He played the guitars, bass, drums and sang all the vocals on the album.
Bobby moved out to sunny LA over the summer of 2007, (during the hiatus of his Detroit-based punk trio, TwoFingerSalute) to further pursue his musical endeavors. Within months of his California arrival, he was already recording tracks for what he thought would be ideas for the next TwoFingerSalute album. When Finn learned the hiatus of his band would take a little longer than originally expected, not wanting to lay dormant, he decided to create a new band.. COMPLETELY from scratch.
Bobby began by recording the drum tracks. He then added guitar tracks, and then added bass tracks onto that.
After those tracks were completed, he then added synth, strings, and any other subtle electronic additions with his computer.
Then, having a completed instrumental album, all of the vocals were added.
After Finn mixed the album, Right The Ship was completed when he had a longtime friend, producer/mixer/engineer Jeff Castelvetere, to do the mastering on the album.
Finally, (as with the debut TwoFingerSalute album), Bobby had the album artwork completed by his mother, artist Lauren Finn. (https://www.tradebit.com)
When Right The Ship plays live, Bobby plays bass and sings, Scott Hallquist (DC Fallout, Raised Under Reagan) plays guitar, and Daniel Shuben (DC Fallout, The Living Dolls, Raised Under Reagan) plays drums.
Right The Ship is now booking shows and gaining support and notoriety with every passing day...
