Walkin'' Till You Fly is the awakening debut of composer and performer, Heather Anne Ross. The original instrumental compositions are inspired by the astounding beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountain High Country.
This flowing blend of musical compositions includes soothing classical guitar,keyboard,and flute. What makes this cd so special is Heather Ross''s ability to write,arrange, and combine three instruments in a heart-felt way.
Heather''s music education began early in life, and continues to thrive. She holds a B.A. music degree from Stephens College,Columbia,Mo. and has taught privately
and within Colorado for 25 years.
She originally located to the Yampa Valley to educate dancers in becoming musicians at the nationally renowned Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in Steamboat Springs. Her wide performing experience includes singing the National Anthem for the Nordic Combined World Cup Championship, and performing with the Mountain Madrigal Singers for a number of years. In addition to performing, Heather was a recipient for a Yampa Valley Legacy Education Initiative grant for an event she created called Sound Invention Night, promoting an exploratory music experience for the youth and community of Steamboat Springs.
