Details:
TRISH RIBEIRO lifts the Soul and belts the Blues with a sultry vocal prowess on her debut release "Bare". This multi-talented Toronto singer/songwriter/TV host has crafted inspiring original songs drawing on the emotive range of Stax/Volt artists in their heyday. Tight rhythms accent stories of heartbreak, longing and resolution with melodic waves of joy and despair. TRISH lays "Bare" a colourful canvas of love.

This debut 10 track full-length CD offering was recorded in classic style over two days live-off-the-floor at New York City''s Unique Recording Studio with artists like Spyro Gyra guitarist Julio Fernandez and Billy Joel saxophonist Richie Cannata. Their work with TRISH on the musical arrangements makes it an exceptionally polished independent release revealing the respect TRISH has attained in the NYC music scene during her recent three year sojourn there.

The CD''s lead song "The Haunting" explodes with blaring horns and barred lyrical teeth while "Torture" weaves Blues and Jazz into a mournful introspective serenade. Songs "Letting Go", "You" and "Better Than You" hears TRISH moving the Soul deeper and higher with accomplished vocal cadence and matching rhythmic arrangements. "Bare" then turns to joy and release with uplifting Blues and Jazz Pop ballads like "Just A Little Love" and "Time Will Tell". TRISH matches her lyrical expressions of love with an equal love for the expressive power of Soul and Blues.

TRISH RIBEIRO is known to Canadians as the host of the highly successful YTV game show "Uh Oh", which has shot 231 episodes over six years and is distributed worldwide, as well as for her hosting work on CFMT. Four years ago TRISH relocated to New York City to pursue a singing career and soon became a fixture at the Triad Theatre & Lounge''s weekly Blues Jam, which regularly features performers like Buddy Miles and Stanley Jordan among many others. TRISH later developed working relationships with Julio Fernandez and Joel Rosenblatt from Spyro Gyra, Richie Cannata, Keith Lambeth (Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding''s bass player) and Lorenzo LaRoc (Sheila E.''s violinist).

"Bare" appears to be just a glimpse of what dark secrets lie in this inspiring performer''s artistic creations...don''t miss being a part of the music that will look deep in your heart and leave you smiling.
