Holly Rea
This artist was born and raised in the wonderful state of Maine. She was raised in the small town of West Bath. She found her voice and love for country music and started singing at the age of ten. Holly entered her first talent show in Brunswick Maine at the age of 13. With her poise and stage presents she charmed the judges and won the talent show. This lead to a beginning of a career in entertaining with weddings and other types of events.
At the age of nineteen she started her own band “Durango” and worked with other bands, charming almost every elks, am vets and singles club in the surrounding area. She then entered the studio for the first time and made her first tape cassette of country remakes of the Judd’s and Reba with Jerry Dunning in Orr’s Island, Maine.
In 1992 she ventured to nashillville to work with a known Maine country music steel player known as Doyle Grissum. She recorded 3 original songs he had written and he produced them in his own studio.
In 1993 she made another trip to Nashville with a known song writer in Maine Silvia Munnesy of Brunswick. On this recording session she had the opportunity to work with some of Nashville’s best. In 1994 Holly went to Nashville on her own and worked for Opryland and worked with a production company from Colorado and had two releases in Europe and made the charts in several countries. In 1996 Holly chose to move to Colorado and raise her son and continue her music career.
For the past ten years she has resided in Denver, Colorado. Working with different genre’s of music all over the state. Holly is now performing in the State of Florida monthly and has a very busy working band in the Denver area. She has completed a new album of originals and promoting with shows and tours all over the country. They are country rock and very empowering to anyone of any age. The album is Holly Rae Revealed, and will soon be available on cdbaby and itunes. She continues to pursue her dreams with passion and never ending drive that she will prevail.
