Travis Staggs, a God fearing Artist with his sights set first on pleasing God completely. He is the husband of Desiree Staggs and the father of three with one on the way. Travis graduated college in 1998 from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He rededicated his life back to Christ in April of 2002, and with that dedication was born a strong desire to minister the word of God through song. So in the summer of 2003 Travis began work on his debut project entitled "AVAILABLE". This project consist of 10 uplifting tracks. On tracks such as "PSALMS 61", and "IS IT ENOUGH", Travis unleashes smooth vocal prowess similiar to that of the Winans. Travis throws in a hint of Hip Hop Flavor on tracks "Keep On Blessing Me" and "Clean Heart". Travis has been a special guest on several different events. With his first project complete, Travis is now the Praise and Worship Leader at THE WORSHIP CENTER located in Spartanburg, SC where his brother, Tyshawn Staggs, is the Senior Pastor.
Travis was nominated as a Finalist for Male Vocalist of the Year at this years AMERICAN GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS to be held May 14, 2005 in Staten Island, NY at the beautiful St. George Theatre.
Travis truly believes this is his season and many people will start to recognize him as a true gospel talent. In order to have a successful ministry, you must put in the time and have the dedication required by God and I must truly say, TRAVIS STAGGS HAS THAT DESIRE AND DEDICATION and with God guiding his footsteps, he will make leadway in this Industry.
