Details:
When Antwan "Twansac" Richardson hit the music scene in 1999, neither the critics nor fans, had fully understood the entrepreneurial vision that Antwan himself had projected. In the short span of five years, this certified entrepreneur has demonstrated an ability to produce and compose break-through music that captured the attention of young consumers using innovative marketing programs targeting today''s youth.

Twansac has performed underground since 1999 where he single-handedly sold over 5000 copies of his debut album "Deeper Than the Mind''s Eye," and catchy single "Cadillac Love." "Cadillac Love," being the first single released from the album, gained national attention by receiving significant radio play throughout the Midwest, earning the "top spot" and eventually becoming themost requested for each station.

In 2003, Twansac made the decision to go mainstream when major labels such as Universal, MCA and Def Jam Records approached him. Since that time the rapper has been on tour and Headlined with artists like DMX, Ludacris, Fabolous, Ying Yang Twins, Bone Thugs, DJ Quick, NB Riders, Lil Rob,Oowee, Ebony Eyes, B2K, Petey Pablo, Cassidy, and Tech N9NE just to name a few.

With the creation of a newer, stronger label, Twansac has delivered his first mainstream debut album with little imperfection..."GhettoScholar." Twansac''s laid back original rap style mixed with a soulful blend of R & B launched his first single and signature song "Cadillac Love" to unimaginable heights. His new release "Do The Damn Thang" promises to be even more successful. Despite the commercial saturation of Hip-Hop, Twansac captivates the people through his innovative music and still manages to maintain a genuine connection to the streets.

"The Ghetto Scholar is not just an album to me," ''It''s deeper than that.''
This album tells the story of my life and the struggles I had to overcome to survive in the streets. I thank God everyday for letting me grow up where I did. My block made my blood thick... thick with hustle. Now I have the mainstream education to match it."
-Antwan "Twansac" Richardson

Antwan continues to give back to where he came from. Having a BA degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer Science, he focuses a lot of his time speaking to students on the importance of education. He is
positive influence for the children and continues to strengthen his ever-growing empire while he flourishes as an artist.
