Michael Ray Tyler is a highly sought-after musician, educator, clinician, composer and arranger. Michael is an active solo artist, performing on Trumpet, Vocals, Flugelhorn, Drums and Percussion throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Michael currently freelances with the Vegas group "Nightshift", performing and singing at corporate events such as Sho West, Tiger Woods-"Tiger Jam", City of Hope and Century 21.
In addition to his professional performance schedule, Michael is also a band leader, studio producer and also facilitates shows for special events. He continues to write original music as well as work with clients out of his home studio. Earlier this year, Michael released “Grazing the Land”, a smooth jazz project featuring the flugelhorn and soft vocals. Soon to be released is “Cool Breeze”, a fresh, big band album.
Michael Ray Tyler holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Kansas and a Master of Music degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
