She is truly a Lyrical Genius and a Natural in the Field of Entertainment Today! $Miss MeMe$ was inspired to create Hip Hop Music by her favorite Rap Artists Kurtis Blow and MC Lite. J-LO is another one of her Role modles and favorite Hip Hop Entertainer. $Miss MeMe$, The New California Miss, is undeniably the most promising Female Hip Hop Artist emerging in the Entertainment Industry today. Her style is all her own whereas She respects herself as well as her Craft, possessing a sexy and unique style, but can also deliver a performance with a slightly rough edge. Her smooth lyrics will stimulate many emotions in all who listens to her rap. Her songs are very versatile and she sends many different messages through her music. $Miss MeMe$ BIOGRAPHY

In her former years prior to being a solo Rap Artist, $Miss MeMe $ was part of a rap group called The Too Cold Rappers. They performed in various night clubs all throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She became a Solo Artist in 1993, writing a lot of new material and recording many master Demonstration Projects in recording studios all throughout the Bay Area and in Los Angeles California.
In early 1994 $Miss MeMe $ met with Montell Jordan to record song''s "Don''t Leave Me Alone" and Seduced In A Real Way" both written by $Miss Meme $. Prior to adding the finishing touches to the songs with Montell singing vocals to" Don''t Leave me Alone" at a recording studio in West Hollywood California, Montell Jordan had previously Produced the songs in his recording studio at his home in North Hollywood California. Both songs were mixed down and completed in West Hollywood and given to $Miss MeMe $, also known as "Silky" at that time, for Intentions to use as part of her project to add to her Album and/or to land a major record deal, which ever came first.
In late 1994 $Miss MeMe $ performed at various community functions and many fund raising events with other Bay Area Artist''s such as: E-40 and the Click, J. T. the Bigga Figga, Young Baby Boy San Quin, Sugar T, Rappin 4-Tay, The Loonies and many other Rap Artist. $Miss Meme $ continued to perform at night clubs and charity events throughout 1995.
In 1996 $ Miss MeMe $ was in her first Music Video titled:" City Of The Playas", off the Album "Herm- Still Trying To Survive in the Ghetto." The Music Video was promoted for Rap Artist "Primo" and was produced by Swing Lo Films.
Also in 1996 $ Miss MeMe $ was in two other Music Videos, this time for Artist "Rappin-4Tay," they were both videos off his Album 4 the Hard Way. The first video she appeared in off this album is titled "Money Makes the Man," and the second, "Shake it." All three videos featuring $Miss Meme $ were filmed in San Francisco California.
From 1993 throughout 1997 $ Miss MeMe $ continued to write new material, perform in Bay Area Night Clubs, and Open Hip Hop Concerts with Special Guest Features and major Acts: such as Too short, Mac Mall, Conscious Daughters, Whodini, Ray Luv, Black, Souls of Mischief, and Lighter Shade of Brown.
One event that she performed in was hosted by MTV''s Dr. Dre and Ed Lover. The Show was called The Black Music Expo. It was held in Oakland California at the Oakland convention center.
In 1998 $ Miss MeMe $ Aka Silky, Featured on a Compilation Album which was Executive Produced by Andy K. He is also the Producer of the California Music Channel. The title of the album is called "3- Beam Circus." She featured on a song with Rappin 4-tay, Song#14, titled Booty call. Other Artists featured on this compilation includes: Tupac Shakur, E-40, Rappin 4-tay B-Legit, N2DEEP and more.
In 1999 $ Miss MeMe $ featured on other Hip HOP Compilations in San Francisco California as well as Vallejo California.
In 2000 $ Miss MeMe $ featured on yet another major Album compilation this time titled "MOB HOUSE 2-THE MOB-A-LENNIUM." She featured on song#15, titled "NOW I''M BALLIN." Other Artists appearing on this album include: San Quin, E-40, and Rappin 4-Tay, Spice 1, Yuk Mouth, JT the Bigga Figga and many more.
In 2001 $Miss MeMe$ wrote/ arranged/composed and produced her first song at Mob House Recording Studio. The song is titled "Back In the Day." She wrote it as a future song to be included in her up and coming Album.
In 2002 $ Miss MeMe $ wrote/ arranged/composed and produced another song, this time titled "Getta Steppin," intended for her up and coming album. She also has been producing other new songs, all to be included on her up and coming album.
In 2003 $ Miss MeMe $ has been working very hard in various Recording Studios throughout the Bay Area. She is working on her New Album, titled "Diamond In Tha Ruff." She wrote all of the songs with the exception of a couple in which she co wrote and produced. She is the Sole Executive Producer of this new album, and she is the CEO of her New Record Label Titled "Lavish Recordings & T-Art Enterprises."
$ Miss MeMe $ Plans to drop her New Album by the Spring of 2004. At the release of this album, she expect to hold a Record Release Party at the African American Art and Cultural Complex in San Francisco Ca. as a way of promoting the album. She is also scheduling various Radio and Magazine Interviews as another way of promoting her new album. Her first Radio Interview will begin with KPOO RADIO in San Francisco Ca. She has lined up this interview with Radio Disc Jockey Huge-Mc. And it is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 31st 2004 at 8:00pm. $Miss Meme $ is also planning to book shows and tour her new album all throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2004. At present 2009 $Miss MeMe$ is running her own Independent Record Company, " Lavish Recordings & T-Art Enterprises", promoting her New Album: Booking and Touring Shows and Setting up Mass Media Interviews. She is Constantly Writing,Composing and Producing New Material, she is already working on her next album expected to be released sometime in the year 2010. $Miss MeMe$ is also working on setting up Business Conferences with Major Record Executives and Promoters in hope to land herself a Major Distribution Deal for her Albums.
