Wes Fisher
Wes'' musical career began at the tender age of 3 when, for his birthday, he received a tin drum from his parents. Living with his family out in the country, (and not having a willing human audience after the first 5 minutes of his opening this gift) he took to playing (so it''s been said), for the cows on the neighboring farm. He could never tell if it was inexperience on his part, or bovine ignorance on theirs, but back then, he got "MOOED" a lot! Then, a couple of years ago, while drinking at a cold, rainy campsite with his fellow Jacobites in Clan Chattan, a braw, bonney lass introduced him to the Bodhran, and he''s never been quite the same since. Now he''s the bodhran player and lead vocalist in Twice Daily. He currently lives in a "wee hoos" with his wife Julie, his daughters Jessie and Mindy, and his son Sean.
Peter MacDonald
Peter is the token Canadian of the group. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and grew up in London, Ontario. He started playing acoustic guitar at the age of 13, and played in many clubs and coffee houses in London in the late 1960s and early 1970s. After college and professional school, Peter gave up performing music for many years until his wife Annette convinced him it was time to return to that hobby. What began as a hobby has now become an obsession. Peter and his family moved to the United States in 1994, and he began playing guitar and singing again. In Twice Daily, Peter plays guitar, Irish bouzouki, tenor banjo and concertina.
Steve Palm
Steve''s love for all things Irish started several years ago with a pint of Guinness in a pub in Milwaukee, and he''s never looked back. He''s also never had a music lesson, so you''ll have to forgive him if he makes a mishtake now and then, it''s all part of the music. He has been toying with the accordion since he was young, but was never able to have it express the music that was in him wanting to get out. He picked up a whistle in March 1997 and an Irish flute in August 1999 and finally can get that sound he was looking for. The accordion really is great for those pub songs and sea shanties, so it''s again part of his repertoire. His lovely wife, Karie, is very tolerant and supportive of his musical interests.
