Born in Louisiana, fled from Nashville, landed in California: MollyJohn Harvey is a young singer-songwriter that neglected her musical calling until she found herself singing for tips on Avenida Del Mar and beyond in the Fall of 2007. Her music is what some call innocent and pure, and what others call intimate and captivating due to the honest nature of her songs that follow her (mostly sad) stories. Influenced early in life by her musical family, she takes most of her inspiration from names in classic country, jazz, blues, traditional, and any other passion-drenched form of music. After recieving praise as a street musician when she moved to California, she decided to pursue her passion. The album "The Little Tragedy" (self-released) is her first, and is now available for sale and your consideration.
