TOLTEC
Remy Greco of New York city, and Frederic Brault of Paris together make up the group Toltec. The pair crafts surprisingly unique compositions one could describe as "electro-folk". Mixing organically induced sounds with electronic elements with ease, Remy and Frederic are able to defy traditions.
The ultimate result for the listener, is the exploration of abstract landscapes, brought on by ethereal and introspective dream like moods, warm guitars and electronic ambiances. The convergence of all those elements is fully enveloping, and listeners will immerse themselves into lush audio worlds.
Toltec''s music gently builds unexplored territories for all to travel. This distinct and unique vibe makes it easy to share a little bit of the mystery behind the minds of this talented and instinctive team.
Remy and Frederic are currently writing and recording new journeys to undertake. With the industrious nature of this pair of musicians we will see the arrival of two new Toltec projects. One is a follow-up to their first release, and the other is a conceptual album primarily written on piano. Toltec also composed and recorded the score and title song for an independent film called "Halfway There". This film was viewed at the Deauville film festival in France.
