Southern Kappin Soldiers:
Texas premier Latin rap group. The group consists of two members, C2six & Yung Monsta. Both of whom hail out of Ft. Worth, TX. S. K. S. was formed in 2002 after parting ways with their former group Enthrone Rydaz. Their first song "Life" was featured on Capones compilation album "Raza Related" and they were also featured on Capones "Mexican Bad-Ass. " in 2003 they released S. K. S. "The Album" which was a hood classic and brought them both regional and national exposure. "The Album" featured tracks with Cynikal 3000, Grimm & Twin Beredaz of Dope House records, and Capone of Latino Jam records.
After a successful first album (over 20,000 units sold) S. K. S. came back with the highly anticipated album "Stop Light Muzik." Featured on the album are tracks with the multi-platinum hip hop icons Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony and Sen Dog of Cypress Hill. This project also features label mate Cynikal 3000, Arson, and smoothvega to name a few. This album has sold over 20,000 and is still going strong.
Recently, S.K.S. was featured on the Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone Album "Bone-ified Thugs: Thugs Unification" and will be Featured on Mr. Capone-E''s Hi Power South Compilation set for release in early 2009.
Now, S.K.S. is releasing the Street Mix: Chopped and Screwed. This project features all of S.K.S. most popular songs with features by Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony, Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, Cynikal 3000, Grimm & Twin Beredaz of Dope House Records, smoothvega, and Capone of Latino Jam records.
