Verdigris is the new name for an old band. The RiverRoad Band changed its name to Verdigris in 2000. The RiverRoad Band and Verdigris both have a site on https://www.tradebit.com (check them out). Verdigris is made up of the two original members of The RiverRoad Band, Mike Hughey and Randy Hoggatt. Mike and Randy live in Coffeyville, KS and have been playing and gigging together for almost 30 years. Their new CD "Changes" look them almost 2 years to complete. With a number of musicians from the area and as far away as Tulsa, OK, they have recorded what they feel is their best effort to date. As the title implies, they have went through many changes while making this CD. The original bass player and drummer left the band at the start of recording for this CD, the band had to change its name, and Mike and Randy both had good friends and family pass away in the past two years. So it only seemed fitting to call this CD "Changes". The songs on this CD cover a range of genres. From country, country rock, pop/rock, rock, soft rock, folk rock, and ballads. "Changes" is what this CD is all about. Verdigris is not currently gigging and doesn''t know if they will. They are already working on their next CD. Hope you all enjoy this one and much as they enjoyed making it.
