After 30 years, once again, the Collins'' Group, legal owners of the licensed, original, "CONNOWIL RECORDS", has decided to release the compilation; "IKE NOBLE AND FRIENDS". This compilation is released on Connowil Records’ subsidiary label REPPIKS RECORDS®. IKE NOBLE is performing songs from his ORIGINAL “FRESH START ALBUM”.
Also included on this compilation is the NEVER BEFORE RELEASED song by IKE NOBLE; “LET ME TURN YOU ON”. Other songs are taken from IKE NOBLE’S previous albums and singles, such as: “IT’S A PARTY”, “SHAKE IT LOOSE”, “EVERYBODY DISCO” (and get on down), “I’ll LOVE ONLY YOU”, and “I’M GONNA MISS YOUR LOVE”.
After blowing off the dust from all of the master tapes that Connowil Records own, REPPIKS RECORDS and their talent coordinator, Jimmie J. Williams, agreed to release on this compilation, songs recorded by Ike Noble’s friends; the groups “d’ KALENDARS”, “MAGNIFICENT OPINIONS”, and “HEET ‘N’ KOOLIN’ SISTM”.
Songs done by d’ KALENDARS will include the group’s original female lead singer, who later agreed to become one of the background singers behind Ike Noble, after Ike Noble teamed up with d’ KALENDARS. “d’ KALENDARS” recorded: “I Cherish This Love”, and “Everybody Loves Good News”.
Songs done by Ike Noble’s other friends “Magnificent Opinions” are: “So Happy To Be In Love With You”, “We’ll Be Jammin’ All Night Long”, “You Know That I Love You”, and “All We Need Is Music”.
Also, Ike Noble’s friends “HEET ‘N’ KOOLIN’ SISTM” have recorded the songs: “Pete’s Down Home Blues”, and “Stinging Sweet”.
This compilation is a 30 YEAR CELEBRATION of the music and artists that were released on CONNOWIL RECORDS and its subsidiary labels REPPIKS RECORDS and SKIPPYOPHONIC RECORDS.
Starting sometime in the year 2009, Connowil Records has agreed to let their talent coordinator, Jimmie J. Williams, sign up a HOT NEW COUNTRY GROUP, who will also be recording QUALITY NEW AND ORIGINAL MUSIC.
