freQ has once again reinvented himself and his music with a new project W!CK. freQ has teamed up with Boulder Colorado native and former member of Gravelrash Tweeze. This careful mix of guitars, electronic music, and emotional lyric content is the foundation of W!CK. This hybrid mix of sounds in conjunction with a live Multi-Media presentation makes W!CK a full audio and visual experience.
The recording and production of the new CD W!CK, titled Ideology, was an emotional and technical roller coster. Using a Pro Tools system at Famascrant Studio, freQ not only captured sounds from typical instruments such as guitar, drums, bass, and synth, but also captured and tweaked sounds from abstract devices such as can openers, children‚s toys, faucets, electric mixers, and empty bottles just to list a few. With emphasis on grooves, melodies, and multi-layering of traditional sounds and abstract sounds W!CK teases and tantalizes your ears with unique sounds that capture your attention from beginning to end.
W!CK has successfully produced a blend of visual and audio stimuli. With unique audio, Multi-Media visual, and high-energy showmanship, W!CK is a true production.

The "Strapped Tour" spanned across America hitting 33 cities in 2002. Check the W!CK website for a list of new shows and tours.
The 2003 "Raid-Invade Tour" is scheduled to begin on September 9th in San Diego California and took the band across the entire United States. In January of 2004, W!CK continued and launched the "Despotic Tour" in support of their 2004 release "Despotism" also available here at https://www.tradebit.com
