Details:
This CD includes four songs from Winston''s first album - "A Musical Tribute to the Last of the Great Toadstool Madonnas" - plus all ten songs from Winston''s second album - "The First One''s Free" - and three tracks recorded at the same time as "Hopeless Romanatic."
As usual Winston touches a lot of different bases. There are straight ahead rockers, such as, "Shoot ''em Up, Cowboy," "Twisted Dreams," and "Tired of Toeing the Line."
Country-rock fans will enjoy "You''re Not Fooling Me," "Right Where She Wants Me," "I Wanna Come Back Home," "Mary Lou," and "Back on My Feet." "Holdin'' Onto Love" is a power-pop/rock ballad. Blues fans will enjoy "Sinner From the Sky" and "Dream." Winston gets funky on "I Can Live Without Your Love." "If You''ve Got Money, Honey" is a gender-bending rag-time number. "Deep Space Interlude" is the first instrumental Winston has ever released, it sounds like something from a movie soundtrack and was written as it was recorded in a matter of a couple of hours one sunny afternoon.
