Details:
The BC Gospel Connection was formed in the Spring of 2002. Rev. William (Bill) Coleman, who also serves as Pastor to members of the Group, was inspired to write eight of the songs and arrange the other three public domain tunes for the project. The BC Gospel Connection was so named because the group vocalists all share the initials BC. Vocalists are: Rev. Bill Coleman, Bill (Jay) Coleman, Bill L. Coleman, and Bernard Cobbs. The one member whose initials are not BC is Ms. Angela Wrighton. They all, however, are connected by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Church affiliation with the Cross Road Baptist Church - Evington, Virginia.

The project is appropriately titled "A Prayer for Troubled Times" because the songs center around the theme of fervent prayer. This highly anticipated new CD will inspire and encourage many as they listen to the feature song, "Come Out With Your Hands Up." The tune "Show Me The Way" is a prayer for direction through these difficult times. What started a year ago as group practices to help Jay (the youngest member) through his troubled times, has turned into melodies that will bless the hearts of each listener. The prayer of the BC Gospel Connection is that each person who listens to these songs will feel the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit''s power.
