Lynneese Ardrell Wooten, is truly a songbird for the Lord! Affectionately known as "Nesi" she has used her powerful voice to give glory to God since the age of six. A native Atlantan and graduate of the class of 2000 at North Atlanta High School. While at North Atlanta she was a student of the Performing Arts program participating in the Chorus. Her senior year she was voted most talented.
Singing with her whole heart and soul, she uses her God given talent to touch the lives of others so that they, too, may seek God first. God has truly anointed Nesi. She has remained faithful to His calling by dedicating her life to drawing men unto Him through song. She desires to touch the world with her anointed voice. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
Lynneese started singing solos in the church at the early age of six. At the age of fourteen she begin performing for numerous organizations and events which included: the City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Teen Week, Morris Brown College Upward Bound Program, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Exercises, the City of Atlanta Employee''s Retirement Ceremony, the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church Annual Conference, Tennessee State Alumni Luncheon, Phillips School of Theology GAMMA Founder Day, NAACP Emancipation Day Program, most notably because her presentation and performance is so dynamic she has performed at several of the events year after year. Most recently she has traveled abroad to Europe and performed as one of the featured artist with the acclaimed musician and soloist Robin Brown.
Additionally, she has completed recording her first album "Let Him Be Your Rooftop". This project is dedicated to her grandmother and brother the late Evelyn Butler and John Wooten III(JJ). On the album "He''s My Rooftop"(Live On Mama Butler) the lead soloist is Evelyn Butler. A devoted member of the West Side Community CME Church in Atlanta, Georgia Lynneese presently volunteers as one of the directors of the John L. Thompson Youth Choir.
