j.o. said to raziel, "we should have a CD out" and it was so. recorded mostly in a very cold loft in Boston. Can you hear it? vocals and over dubs recorded in a more temperate clime. Grim was later re-recorded for Burn Something Dear, as was First Cut. unfortunately, you''ll never hear the first few notes of this version. they''re gone. imagine that it begins slowly. Grim(shadow) live to tape analog ecstatic burst. everyone with both hands on a filter control... modulate the SH101, TB303, TR909, ARP Odyssey, Sequential 6 Track. there was probably an 808 there, if just to drive sync.
