A 5-piece noise-rock outfit from Boston, MA, The Spanish Armada features members of several existing and defunct bands, all of whom have come together in the name of constructing and/or demolishing songs. Greg Lyon (Guitar/Vocals), William Scales (Guitar), Dan Parlin (Guitar), Logan Hodson (Bass/Vocals), and Dave Kaplan (Drums) make up The Spanish Armada. Their debut self-titled record, due out in March, 2009 on Boston''s Midriff Records, is an exploration of the intimate link between brooding sentiment and frenzied noise, cacophony and infectious melody.
