Summer Ferrante is a young singer and songwriter from Southern California. Since the early age of 5 she has performed with various bands, from Rock to Classical. Music has been a part of her family for many generations; some of her family members are award wining producers and film score composers.
Summer graduated with a degree in Sociology, which in turn impacted her life perspective and matured her unique outlook for the content and stories used in her songs. Summer states, “Through my lyrics and music, I feel that I can convey my own experiences of pain, happiness, or frustration in a way that others can relate to on a personal level.” Summer experiments with different musical styles and incorporates them into her music.
Summer’s solo Pop EP simply titled “Summer – EP” is collection of five songs. “It was hard to settle on only five songs because I love them all. They are all a piece of me and my writing partners. I started with twenty songs and picked the ones that I felt would most speak to my audience.”
