Details:
Debbie Zepick

One reviewer, in B.C. Christian News called her singing "transcendent" and said that "angels must sing like this." Her voice is unique and unmistakeable in its clarity and transparancy. Debbie is also a poet and in the tradition of the celts, she tells amazing stories and asks tough questions. With a mysterious draw, that is her gift, she invites listeners to participate in her journeys of reflection and relationship. Each song is a jewel, set and polished to perfection, yet raw in emotion and fresh in approach. The melodies take their influence from generations of Irish and Scottish songwriters, whose songs remain as popular as ever. The lyrics deal with the "real stuff" of life, fear, loss, and most of all, the hope, that her faith in Christ brings.

Fearless, Debbie''s fifth independent release, contains some of her most mature writing, to date. The opening track, I Am Grass, is a lively celtic number, featuring some high energy fiddling and percussion. Lilith Fair hearkens back to Olde English music, with its recorder work. The Lord Helped Me ended up being a bit of a "gospel" style and is great song to sing along. Red Willow is an exquisite song of peace and tranquility. Scars is stunning, with its orchestral work, men''s chorus and Debbie''s tender vocal performance. The title track, Fearless, truly takes us on a journey from fear, to faith and courage. Calling All Angels is a song for every mother who has ever struggled with "letting go" of her children..... a great, lively celtic tune. You Break Trail is reminicent of Alison Krause with its fiddle drone and great acoustic guitar work. In Eye of the Storm, Debbie probes the depth of human pain and loss, and speaks the words of hope....that "in the dark of the night there''s a light shining heavenward." This song is spell-binding, in its power. We feel like we have entered a smoky, Irish Pub, when listening to Unto the Lord, which features bohran, accordion and https://www.tradebit.coms song was voted Inspiration Song of the Year from the Canadian Gospel Music Association. Room With a View deals with the heart wrenching topic of dementia and is very touching and beautiful. The final song of the album, Change the World, is a rallying cry to those who believe in Christ, to live their dreams, knowing that people of passion can change the world.
