Corto Maltese is a five-piece rock band that hails from Austin, TX. Composed of Eric Loftis(drums/vocals), Ben Maddox(guitar/vocals), Justin Roberts(guitar), Tyler Thompson(keys/guitar), and Wes Turner(bass/vocals); Corto Maltese released the three-song EP "Providence" in 2007 that was well received by local music scene, press and radio. It was recorded in a weekend and only the rough mixes were salvaged from a fire.
This is their second EP, titled "Answer, Answer." It was recorded by Jeff Byrd at Matt Oliver''s recording studio, Big Orange and mixed at Jim Eno''s recording studio, Public Hi-Fi.
