At a young age Khaled found himself tapping on tables, singing along to a Metallica tape he played on a small red cassette player, and going over to his best friend''s house to play his black and white Fender Strat. Shortly after, Khaled asked his parents for a guitar of his own. A year and a half later his parents gave in; the guitar was his, and he was hers playing in the deserts of Arabia.
Khaled Dajani started his first band in high school as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist with Indifference, a rock band based in Youngstown, Ohio. Indifference enjoyed success in cities like Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Youngstown and Pittsburgh. Indifference had the pleasure of sharing the stage with accomplished acts such as: Brian Vander Ark from The Verve Pipe, Days of the New, Sponge, and Shinedown.
Since then, Khaled has experimented with different projects and has recently written and produced his newest release, Seasons in Minutes. The album is a compilation of acoustic works with styles ranging from Classical coupled with aggressive rock riffs, to the distinct melodies of Levantine and Spanish guitars. Seasons in Minutes is a collection of stories about realization, ends, and new beginnings. "Unforgettable", from Seasons in Minutes, has been selected & featured on QuickStar Productions'' Chill Out compilation album released in December 2008.
Khaled has established himself as a versatile musician in the Pittsburgh, Youngstown, and Washington, D.C. areas. He has built a fan base in the local music scenes while playing in venues such as, IOTA, Duke''s City, Staccato, Solly''s Tavern, Dahlak, and the Fallout Shelter, and is gaining international listeners through the many internet media outlets. His progressive approach gives a diverse, rhythmic, and emotive sound that promises a catching performance. Khaled is now in New York City pursuing and evolving his musical career using the many media outlets to share his music. With the release of Seasons in Minutes, he plans to tour regionally and expand his fan base.
