Born in 2004, Aura are an Italian Rock Band who emerged following the footsteps of previous line-up band, called at the very beginning “The Rain” and performing since 1999.
The band proposes an alternative rock accompanied by lyrics with strong communicative appeal talking about last generations struggles. Classic line-up: 2 guitars, bass and drums with sounds and vibes going towards world-wide rock tradition, especially the british one (Beatles, Oasis, Stereophonics) and Italian rock songwriting tradition ( Battisti, Afterhours, Timoria).
Aura took part several Italian Festivals and won the prestigious award at Rock Targato Italia contest.
In 2007 one of their songs Voce Della Paura is selected for the Rock targato Italia compilation cd featuring the best up and coming Italian bands.
In 2009 they came out with their first official album, the EP PROBLEMATICHE LONTANE, completely self-produced by the band itself.

Formazione classica, 2 chitarre, basso e batteria con sonorità convergenti tra la tradizione rock mondiale, soprattutto britannica (Beatles, Oasis, Stereophonics) e la tradizione rock e cantautoriale italiana (Battisti, Afterhours, Timoria). Diverse partecipazione ai principali Festival Italiani, vincitori nel 2006 del prestigioso concorso ROCK TARGATO ITALIA.
Nel 2007 presenti con il brano Voce della paura sulla compilation Rock Targato Italia, contenente le migliori rock band emergenti d’Italia.
Nel 2009 prima uscita discografica ufficiale con l’EP Problematiche lontane, interamente autoprodotto.
