Details:
Influenced by great musicians Jimmy Page, Duane Allman and Stevie Ray Vaughn, Pat Brady started to pursue his own musical career singing and playing lead guitar. Pats musical talent started with Rock "N" Roll and his vocal and lead guitar style led him to The Blues.

In Pats early days as a musician he lived in Santa Barbara. At 19 Pat and a group of friends formed "The Tan" a Rock Surfer band. They sounded like the Stray Cats. Their high energy and friendship made them a good "parting" club band. They played locally for a few years along with surfing for a couple of years after that.

He then moved to Northern California to grow as an individual and to be closer with his brothers. Pat then ''met up'' with old time fellow musician Robert Martin. Martin asked Pat to meet the guys in his band. Pat really connected with the band members, the "Hard core Rock seen" and the name " DEFIANCE".

They played the club circuit in San Jose for a number of years.

Pat meanwhile was getting discouraged and knew his music was going nowhere. Sex, drugs and Rock "n" Roll were taking its toll on Pat too. At this time he was about 28 and began searching for a way out.

He met his first love and decided to settle down. They had a daughter together, Melanie. Later Pat wrote "Melanie''s Song" about their lives with one another. Similar to the bands he was in, his marriages didn''t last either! Pat decided to take a break from it all and get a real job! This is when he started to play with the "Fat Catz", a local blues band that did well in the clubs. The gigs ranged from Santa Cruz club
" Moe''s Alley " to the night club "J J''s Blues Lounge" in San Jose. This is when Pat''s song writing really began.

It took Pat quite awhile ( nine years to be exact ) to get the songs together, but it was worth it. Working out of town, a few trips to other countries, and a lot of parting gave him all the material he needed for his songs.

So now it was time to put the project in motion. In 2001 Pat started vocal training with Linda Palowski, vocal instructor and pianist. She brought out his strong vocal presence, which in turn blended his full sounding voice to his unique guitar playing. During this time he turned his garage into a studio. Pat started recording and bringing his songs to life. Along with using professional musicians, for recording, he was also taking note of which ones would fit into the Pat Brady Band.

The project started taking shape but was still rough around the edges. Recording was becoming complicated. Pat''s project was now too big for his
Garage studio.

Pat was looking for a pianist. Long time musician friend, Oliver Harris, gave him a business card of someone he knew, Alex Specht. Pat gave Alex a call and sure enough Alex was a pianist and an accomplished drummer.

Alex liked the project, "Can''t Live Without You" so together they started working on it. Although it wasn''t known at the time this project was going to take a year to complete. After all the musicians, all the late night recording and all the editing the tracks were finally laid down and the "Pat Brady Band" was ready to go.

It was now time for the mastering stage of the game. Alex knew someone in this line of business too, Vince Hudson (London Studios Redwood City Ca.). Within three weeks Hudson had the final product and the CD "Can''t Live Without You" was ready for mass production.

All the pieces of the pie were cut. The Pat Brady Band CD
"Can''t Live Without You" is at record stores around the Bay Area.

"It''s all about staying focused and persevering"
