Carlo A. Crameri:
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1947 • 1962 to 1966 studies of classical guitar • From 1967 to 1970 lead guitarist of „The These”, the pop group he founded, appearing live internationally, also on TV • Creative artist after studying the science of colour with one of Johannes Itten’s master students • Many one-man shows in galleries, art museums and international institutions (also in the USA) • Purchases by Swiss and European collections • Public sculptures • Art director for a Swiss film production (1988) • Author of various philosophical texts • Awarded the culture prize of the province Baden-Wurttemberg for the best radio program of 1992 • 1993 Radiotalks together with Harld Szeeman about Joseph Beuys • Initiated the project „Ankh” (Science of Sounds) • Performance in the „Tonhalle Zurich” with interpretations of John Cage and Maurice Kagel, together with Werner Bärtschi, Pierre Favre and Bianca Medici (1995) • Founder of the group „Plastic Art Foundation” and initiator of the CDs „Sandbrot” and „Glutmut’s Erzählung”, (2000 and 2001), „Line-Square” (2004), „Andorra” (2005 „Escabur“ (2006), „Epon“ (2007) and „OR“ (2008) • Founder of the „Akademie für Zeitgeist” (2002).
Martin Tillmann:
Born on November 6, 1964 in Zurich, Switzerland. Studies in Europe and continuation with cellist, Lynn Harrell. • 1989 Masters Degree in Performance from the University of Southern California. • Since arrival in the USA in 1988 he composed and/or performed on over 100 feature films, television series, commercials as well as performances live on TV. • Collaboration with Hans Zimmer on the Tony Scott movie ''The Fan'' led to compositions and performances for scores such as Black Hawk Down, Hannibal, The Pledge, King Arthur, Passion, Cold Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Armageddon, Everlasting Piece, Mission Impossible 2, Sacrileg. • Established himself in the motion picture and recording world as one of the most sought after talents of experimental acoustic and electric cello. By extending the traditional boundaries of his cello he created a sound of his own. • Performences with various musicians including Sting, Elton John, Alison Krauss, Beck, BB King and Tracy Chapman. • Previous albums: Eastern Twin (Rounders), Cinematic Volunteer, The Poet, Afterglow, A Year in Zurich (2004). With PAF Escabur
(2006) and OR (2008 ).
Svetlana Sokolova:
Born in the Taiga of the Russian Far East. At the age of 10 she mooves with her mother to Vladivostok. Already at the age of 7 she was interested in Music - learning the Piano – later Composition. Studies at the University of Commerce. During that time she organizes and directs theater-plays of the Russian Literature, also dedicating herself to Dance and Writing.
Age 21 she changes to St. Petersburg (Leningrad of that time) where in 1990 she meets Carlo A. Crameri. 2 years later she gets married to a Swiss engineer and mooves to Zurich. Thereafter she lives in Singapore, than Sidney until the year 2000 when she takes domicile once again in Zurich.
C. A. Crameri has seen her interest for the Arts aswell as the talent. He encouraged her need to express herself through Music. This has finally led to Svetlana Sakolov beeing integrated into the PAF-Project.
