The Story Behind III N I
III N I (pronounced "three in one") is symbolic of the numerals in metaphysics which are:
Mind, thought and understanding
The artist chose the name, III N I, because of its metaphysical meaning and the strong metaphysical messages that are incorporated into lyrics of the songs. The music and lyrics in the songs in the CD album, "The Secret," were composed by Kelly Dixon, with some lyrical contributions from Brian Henry, and Kelly''s brothers, Dan and Jim Dixon.
Kelly has composed and performed music most of his life, forming his first band at the age of 12. He has combined his musical talents with his understanding of the power of metaphysics to create a one-of-a-kind CD album, "The Secret."
As a young boy, Kelly''s parents were faced with various (and typical) difficulties, including financial problems. His father and mother read books, such as Psychocybernetics and The Power of the Subconscious Mind. They quickly learned to apply what they read, and as they did so, their problems faded away - leaving them with an abundance of money, the ability to buy new cars, go on cruises and take dream vacations (the so called material effects of the mental cause).
At a young age, Kelly witnessed personally what such a change in typical conditioned thinking could accomplish, although he did not fully understand how or why it worked. To him it appeared to be magical and mystical. Kelly''s brother, Jim Dixon, easily demonstrated what some called, "mind over matter." For instance, he could call up a strong wind or pick up a burning log without it scorching his flesh. Though impressed with his brother''s ability, Kelly had a limited understanding of the process and was unable to make any connection between what his brother was able to demonstrate, and what his parents were able to accomplish through positive thinking, and other mind-control techniques.
Later on in life, Kelly met a young man named, Scott Shaw, who introduced him to the works of Neville Goddard. After reading the first book (Awakened Imagination) gifted from Scott, Kelly began to gain a real understanding of truth, as the pieces of the puzzle of life started to fit. Another brother, Dan Dixon, had been studying Escatology for several years, and had become an accomplished teacher of this science of life. Kelly began to study under his brother, Dan, and continues to probe and understand and employ the wonder of these basic and elemental life truths with each passing day. It became very clear and apparent that these truths are the same as those presented and taught by Jesus. There is nothing magic or mystical about them, once one understands, and the artists, writers, producers, everybody involved here believe this to the core of their being. The truth is ever present to save us here and now from all that is undesirable.
With this knowledge, the scriptures of the New Testament even become more clear and understandable with a new and enlightened meaning.
On March 31, 2001, Kelly''s youngest daughter, Erin, passed away from a cause that was never determined by the medical doctors. He, and the love of his life, Linda, were devastated by the loss of their daughter. After working through the pain, and using what he had learned of the principles of the "truth," he realized that life is indeed eternal and the only way Erin could really die is if he himself succumbed to the lie that death is a final process in any way. With that realization, he has - ever since her passage - been able to communicate with Erin through the eternal mental activity, which is thought, and has thereby gained an understanding that
"Each of us is an individual mentality of the same collective mind, or "God," if you prefer, and within each of us is the almighty power and ability to think and reason infinitely, which is eternal life."
Erin communicated a message to Kelly revealed in the song, "Take a Look Around," and through this communication, Kelly was able to translate Erin''s message into poetic song lyrics. It is to Erin that this CD album is dedicated.
III N I is much more than a musical rendition. It is a living tribute to the truth of life. There is much to learn to gain an understanding of the truth, and it requires letting go of many of our errant beliefs.
You can begin your journey to the truth by ordering "The Secret." Those who have applied its message are discovering happier, more successful lives. You may even find the III N I within you.
The title song, "The Secret," was based on the words of William W. Walter, as follows:
"The Secret of How to Demonstrate."
Now it is this: Not to see, hear or repeat any kind of imperfection. It is seeing, hearing and repeating good at all times, and under all circumstances, in spite of everything that may appear to the contrary. It is to make this resolution when we first open our eyes each day and review it every hour of the day. I see perfection, perfect cause, and perfect effect, perfect God, and perfect universe and we must refuse to make any exceptions. We must refuse to admit the slightest imperfection in any of our friends, in our so-called enemies, in our affairs, and in the affairs of the world. We must stop a dozen times a day to renew this resolution, and to make sure we are not repeating errors of any kind, or giving away to fear, worry, or criticism. We must watch our thoughts, even about people - the lame, the old, the unlovely, (to sense) that we pass. We must take our stand for perfection in all things, and we will not, absolutely will not, release our perfect standard.
The results will be simply marvelous. Try it and you will see a betterment in your health, happiness, peace of mind, and success. You will find and behold a perfect universe.
