Producer/Arranger Darn-L is back on the scene with “Grown Folks Music” which is the follow-up to his 2005 Jazz release “Conversations Vol.1” Consisting of smooth R&B / Soul selections that will keep you grooving and thinking at the same time. The CD offers a little something for everyone of all ages and genres. The lyrics and songs speak of the many experiences that we go through as adults and even young adults and the lessons we learn as a result.
These “grown folks” themes are complimented by smooth urban grooves and beats that highlight his experiences as an arranger/producer as well as the lessons learned from a variety of musical influences. Also featured on this CD are collaborations with Atlanta based producer Curtis (NaPhunk) Dallis, Miami based Producer / Songwriter Angelo Morris ( Ms B Productions) as well as a host of other prolific writers and producers such as Otis Flowers, Margaret Reynolds (Revelation S.E.E.D), and Calvin McCoy.
With the release of his second CD entitled “Grown Folks Music”, Darn-L introduces this new project with the infectious R&B Soul single “AWOL”.
